Learn Your Opening — A Chess App Idea
What is is it
Ever had a problem learning your new favorite opening but you encounter these two problems.
- Your opponent plays the wrong moves
- Theory and memorizing is not helping
Then I present you Learn Your Opening, an app idea that helps people learn their favorite opening with experience. Not by learn but by doing.
How does it work
Just pick the opening/s you want to learn and you will match up with someone that wants to learn defending YOUR opening of choice.
Move Opening Helper
Think of MOH as a babysitter that helps you play the first moves together. Same thing happens with your opponent as well.
How much does MOH really do
Honestly… you pick. Do you want to learn the Sicilian defense? MOH assists you by visualizing together the 3 theory moves of the Sicilian. Wanna learn the Dragon more moves etc. After you gain some experience and the hang of it you can turn MOH off, but remember. You must play the correct moves, or MOH wakes up and tells you that you were wrong. Of course it is polite and guides you on what went wrong, and corrects you.
The Game
After MOH assists you, this is it. You can now start playing and learning your favorite opening.
Play with friends
You can easily link up with friends and play whatever opening you want
The Big Problem
While this is a decent idea it has one major issue. In order to play games you need people. You need users that want to play from the Caro Kann defence to the Norwagean Sunfish. This particular idea would fit perfectly into an already big app like Chess.com or Lichess as an extension.
